Input Requests: Collect Structured Information from External Users
Generate a secure, time-limited access code, send it to anyone outside your organization, and have them submit a structured form — without needing an account.
Sometimes you need information from people who aren’t in your system. A vendor filling out an intake form. A job applicant submitting details before an interview. A customer responding to a structured onboarding questionnaire. Setting up accounts for all of them isn’t practical — and sharing a generic form link doesn’t give you the traceability you need.
Input Requests solve this cleanly.
How It Works
- Generate a code — Create an Input Request inside Agentwise. The system generates a secure, time-limited access code.
- Send it — Share the code with the external party via email, message, or however you communicate with them. No account setup required on their end.
- They submit — The recipient visits a web page, enters their code, and fills out the structured form you’ve defined.
- It arrives in your organization — Their response flows directly into Agentwise, linked to the originating request, ready to act on.
What It’s Good For
- Intake forms for new vendors, partners, or clients
- Onboarding surveys for employees before their first day
- Data collection from external parties as part of a workflow
- Support escalations where a customer needs to provide details asynchronously
Security Design
Access codes are time-limited — they expire after a configurable window. Each code is single-use and tied to a specific form definition. There’s no way to enumerate codes or access other forms. External users see only what you’ve explicitly configured for that request.
This design keeps the process simple for the recipient while giving your team full control and a clean audit trail on the receiving end.
